Hi Kathryn!
December 13th
Lois often got in trouble for rushing in too soon – don’t make the same mistake!
Yes, Clark got himself into trouble once when he was quicker than Lois.
The soft, pale light of early morning filtered through the curtains as Lois wandered into the living room. She felt the quiet hum of the season settling in around her, like the calm before a storm. Clark was already there, flipping through some papers on the couch, his brow furrowed in concentration.
Another bit to applicate – 24 distinct morning scene starters.
Clark looked up, his face brightening instantly. “Good morning! Did you sleep well?”
Lois smirked, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Well, considering someone was very intent on keeping me awake last night, I’d say I managed a few hours of rest.”
Oh, did the naughty Superman keep flying off to do rescues all night long?
LOIS: Yes, let’s… say it was *that*.
Clark chuckled, a playful glint in his eye. “I don’t remember hearing any complaints.”
“Who said I was complaining?” she quipped, leaning in to kiss him again.
They are very adorable!
Clark laughed. “On St. Lucia’s Day, Swedish girls often wear a crown like this and serve their family members breakfast in bed. It’s a tradition that symbolizes light and hope during the darkest time of the year.”
That’s kind of cute!
LOIS: If he thinks I’m going to wear a blonde wig and wear a sheer white gown while I serve him breakfast in bed, he’s got another –
CLARK: What? No…no… I mean—
LOIS: So, you *don’t* want me to make you breakfast in bed?
CLARK: *sigh* can we skip St. Lucia’s day and move on to one that doesn’t contain instructions on how to dig a hole for you self?
It’s a symbol of selfless service, bringing light to others.”
Oh, like a reporter? Truth being kind of a light?
Lois pondered that for a moment. “Sounds like something you’d do.”
Aaaah…. Superman’s gonna dress in a white dress?
SUPERMAN: It’s called a ‘toga’.
Lois’ face softened. “You want us to be the St. Lucia for the elderly?”
Awwww
Clark, meanwhile, drew a small crowd of admirers. “You’re much too handsome to be volunteering here,” one of the women teased, laughing.
He just tries to make a good impression on his girlfriend.
As the afternoon wore on, Lois and Clark found themselves immersed in the spirit of the season.
Too much eggnog?

Lois chuckled. “You know, I think I might finally be leaving my Grinch phase when it comes to Christmas.”
Just in time for baby’s first Christmas next year

Reason: Bah humbug to this spoiler warning! It's time for a Christmas miracle.
