I read this last night but didn't have time to comment. As Shadow says, she's really mature to realize that she and Clark aren't supposed to get together for 10 years, but in her old timeline she lost him. Now she's 17 (with all the hormones that go with it) and he's 18 and *alive*. I doubt we can really expect her to stay away from him for 10 years. As long as he's not doing super feats and getting himself involved in things too soon, maybe he and she can stay alive and save the future, exact timeline notwithstanding.
