Whew! I just read the second part and I LOVE the way this is going! I wondered where the title came from and now I'll have fun seeing how many ways you bring in the different meanings of that word. And of course I can see some major angst coming up--everyone is going to be upset--Clark is always underestimating the impact of whatever he does--and I can't wait to see how it all plays out! I also love the way you are developing Constance's character--similar to the way that so many other stories have fleshed out Bill Henderson into a character who's as real as Jimmy or Perry. I just hope she doesn't figure out Clark's real connection to Superman too soon, although I don't know how she can miss it, since she's obviously too smart to be fooled by a pair of glasses, and she won't have Lois's prejudices about a hack from Nowhere to blind her from the beginning. You are going to ruin my plans to get anything done for the next few weeks--I'll have to hurry home after work every day to see whether any updates have been posted. So please don't keep us waiting too long for the next part!
