I didn't have time to comment on this earlier but now that I've read part 4 I had to come back to it. I found Clark's analysis of his conversation with Constance really interesting. He's such a poor liar and is so uncomfortable with it that it's hard to see how he functions as an investigative reporter--he must leave all the deception to Lois, who has absolutely no problem with it. A good investigator such as Henderson would be in the habit of saying less than he knows, waiting for other people to tell him their stories and comparing everyone's version to figure out the real truth. But of course the conversation with Constance is not an investigation; still, Clark's quick "Superman told me" response shows how uncomfortable he is with the whole dual identity issue. I am loving this story! Thanks so much!
