It's always a big debate between FoLCs - if Clark told Lois his suspicitions about Lex Luthor, would she agree with him or would it antagonize her more?
If he doens't tell her (the way he did in canon - he told her he was dangerous, but didn't tell her the reasons) than it looks like it's nothing but jealousy. And she doens't see any reason to listen to him.
But if he does tell/show her the evidence - it's nothing he can prove, so it looks like Clark is out to get someone she considers a friend. And she becomes more defensive in this case.
In both ways, I think Lois ulimately feels Clark can't trust her instincts - and that hurts her. And Clark knows Lois can't trust his instincts. And that hurts him.
I can see both angles easily (especially with the story I'm writing, where Lois and Clark's daughter is in a similar situation.)
And Superman's conflicting memories is still making me very nervous. Can he go home? Will his marriage survive when and if he does? Do I dare read on?
