Lois is marrying Lex, nothing happen to cause her to have second thoughts at the alter so this Lois will likely end up Mrs. Luthor.
All those Superman Lex confrontations did not occur to him so his belief that Lex is evil is not as strong as canon Clark's feelings.
Thus this much more passive Clark is not likely to move into action as rapidly and as intensely as Canon Clark did in his efforts to bring down Luthor in time.
