I did not expect the social skills thing to be the reason that Lois had been so calm. I mean, it makes perfect sense to me, but I just didn't see it coming. (Which is, of course, what happens when a story is written from only one character's perspective...not that that's a bad thing, just that that is what dawned on me as I was reading.)
I hate seeing Lois insecure like this, though. I don't find it out of character at all, I'm just frustrated for her at what is happening. Of course, I love that Clark is the one she talks to about these things!
I'm really enjoying this story!
