Okay, my apologies in advance as I am not awake. But I did want to reply now as our visitors start tomorrow (we cancelled the ones for today, but the ones coming tomorrow are staying for a few days, so I wanted to reply before they arrive).

C-mom (you know, for some reason when I try to include your full handle, I get an error message) - This is pre-canon Lois. By the end of this story, I promise she will no longer be someone who would sit still for Paul stealing her story.

Patrick - I agree - Professor Williams definitely would read the paper and there are reprecussions to that. I will say, though, that the full reprecussions take some time to come - I haven't written them all yet and I do still have about ten chapters of buffer.

On an unrelated note - I seem to recall that your grandson was due to be born around now - is that right?

Michael - That would be funny - to have Paul steal a story of Lois' where she outs him. But I don't see him as that stupid - I do imagine he reads the stories he steals.

Hmmm... I do think there may be a way to use Paul's name as a verb later, but much later.

Amber - I agree, I dislike a Lois that is so insecure (although, I find her a bit fun to write). But like I said above, she won't be that way forever.

Ann - I'm so pleased! I got the impression from your last note that you're reading the last chapter was a one time thing. And I have to say, I sort of thought this story might not be up your alley - being from Clark's POV. Although, Lois has turned out to be much more of a major character than I had envisioned her being when this story was at its inception.

Personally, while I definitely see Lois' infatuation with Paul as wrong, I'm not so bothered by Clark's feelings for Maddie. I like Maddie and when Clark and Maddie got together, Lois was a different person - and someone Clark didn't get along with. Plus, personally, I don't think this Clark is ready for the Lois we know and while this Lois isn't her yet, I also don't think this Clark could help her become the Lois she needs to become. Basically, right now, I don't see LnC as right for each other. But that's just my opinion.

Terry - Thanks! I like the fumblings of Lois and Clark, too. I guess it's a bit similar to the show in that way, so it's not surprising, but given the younger Lois and Clark, I find their behavior even more amusing. Like you, they remind me of myself when I was that age. I guess it's good that I find that amusing rather than simply embarrasing...

Oh, and as for the Boy in Black idea - that idea wasn't completely mine. It was sort of spurred on by the fact that Patrick said he wanted to see a story where Clark was Superboy (based on an attempt Clark made to be Superboy in Triangle) and a separate request he made for Triangle Clark to take on a new costume. When I decided to do the Superboy thing, I knew I didn't really want him to be Superboy and then thought of this other request of Patrick's and ended up with the Boy in Black.
