Michael, would it help if I let you know that she does deal with this issue later?
Until then, I think it's sort of like someone with leprosy who stubs their toe. They don't feel it so their mind doesn't immediately register that it's something that they have to deal with. Same here. Guilt is a god-given gift to prod us when we do something wrong. Lois has no guilt over cheating on Max, so until she directs her mind to that question, there is nothing to prod her in that direction. And there are only so many things that any of us can think about at one time.
Now, in the not too distant future, Lois will direct her mind to the question - and you will see the consequences of it. But at the moment, she is dealing with a lot of other issues. And since her heart isn't telling her that she did something wrong in regards to Max, she isn't addressing it. But don't worry. She will.
