After I had a hard time translating some words in the internet I found the translation here... Should have looked first. Duh!
Although we have the translation, a vital part of the conversation is missing. So we can speculate, but we can't be sure what happened to Didi and what got Lois so furious.
She hadn't mentioned a husband. Although Romaric seemed prominent.
He's dying to know if she is married but doesn't want to ask it.
She wanted him to stay.
He couldn't think about that. He couldn't let it soak into his psyche.
The choice wasn't his to make.

Staying would mean assimilation. Staying would mean developing relationships with people. Staying would mean pretending he was someone he could never be.
Staying would mean being with Lois.
Getting to know her.
Being a part of her life.
Allowing her access to his life.
But he had to be alone.
His resolution is weakening. His mind tells him he has to be alone, but his subconscious is conjecturing what it would be like if he stayed.
I just hope Lois explains soon what her "marriage" means.
