It sounds like Clark has slapped the Kents in the face for all that they've given him.
KAL: Gee, thanks, Mom and Dad, but now that I know who my birth folks are, you and what you taught me don't really matter anymore.
I've never understood the concept of Clark rejecting his Kent heritage for his Kryptonian one. He grew up as Clark Kent, why should learning who his birth parents are make him forget who he had been for the first 20+ years of his life? It's why I love LnC so much. Our Clark is Clark first, Kal second (well, third, he has a complex life.)
