) meant was that he couldn't tell her details of what they did to keep Tempus under control. I didn't realise that he was hiding from her the fact that Tempus
actually exists! And so she has no idea whatsoever that, if Tempus succeeds, she and all of her family could... simply cease to exist. What a horrible, horrible position for him to be in!
I don't know how I'm going to survive when you take your two-week hiatus!
