This is, as I said earlier, another definite "keeper"-- already on my list of all-time favorite stories.

I loved the way Lois and Clark have meshed into the classic partnership/friendship/soul-mates thing they do so well. And they've done it without really realizing it; that is, they started out with disbelief and some animosity, at least on Lois's part. And even Clark didn't originally define what he felt for Lois as love - it took him awhile to realize that what he was feeling for her was love. So here they are now, just a few days into this whole situation, and they have evolved to the point where they finish each other's thoughts, and they interact as if they've been together for years. Errr... actually, I guess they have been together for years, huh? 200-plus of 'em. goofy

Anyway. My husband and I do that back-and-forth banter: when one of the girls does something we don't like, or is being stubborn, or whatever, one of us will say to the other, "She gets that from your side of the family." So goofy

And THEN she suggests he might be a Kent descendant!? As Pam says, Tempus is fond of over-the-top plans, and he does love irony. It could be true. What with the time-traveling and all its paradoxes, he may feel he can circumvent the If-Utopia-Ceases-To-Exist-Then-Tempus-Who-Was-Born-There-Ceases-To-Exist-Which-Means-He's-Not-There-To-Cause-This-Whole-Thing-In-The-First-Place... You know, I think I just wrote the verbal equivalent of the Mobius strip, CC - no end to the paradox loop. As rivka says,

Make sure you have an adequate supply of nice, sharp, new pencils and some tempting, blank writing paper with you on your trip... or a ballpoint pen and a steno pad... or a blunt crayon and some TP... so you can keep writing!
