As for the Glass Tiger lyrics, Alan Frew (the lead singer of GT) is from Coatbridge, Scotland (just half an hour away from Glasgow). If you watch the video for the song, you'll see it was not only filmed in Glasgow, but features many of the locations in the song as well as two footballers that played for Rangers, Alan's favourite team (as well as my husband's) so it felt like the right song for it. There are versions of the song without Rod Stewart also which is interesting.
