Yeah, the age gap is definitely a factor, though couples with an age gap of 13 years aren't that uncommon. It's decidedly creepy as long as Lois is 18 and Clark 31. Not so creepy anymore when Lois is 40 and Clark 53.

We'll see. For the time being all they're going to become is friends. I think of Clark as Lois not so imaginary imaginary friend.
