Hmmm, let's hope so. Oh, and I'll post just as soon as I humanly can. I'm waiting for Sue to finish Faustian (I'm totally devoted to her as a beta on the final chapter right now... I've read it like 5 times) and I didn't want to lambast her with a new story till she was finished. That and the fact that of the 50 pages I've written... they are scattered all throughout the story, all over the place. I still have to write the "connect-the-dots" parts.

And then, too, he wakes up in Lois' bed. So that seems to say to me that they still had sex. Why did he wake up in Lois' bed?
Hmmm, you know, I don't ever recall saying he was in Lois's bed... let's see what did I say... ah, here it is:
"I was in Lois Lane's apartment. In Lois Lane's bedroom..."
Uh, bedroom and bed are 2 very different things.
It did seem the one section just before the nightmare just kind of suddenly got cut off. I was left shaking my head a little. Did I miss something? I am pretty tired right now.
Hmmm. Well, I didn't change anything at all except to take the little nfic romp out. The epilogue picks up and ends up in the exact same place minus the nfic scene.
To recap for you. After Lana dies, Clark decides to tell Lois who he is. He comes to Metropolis to confront Lex, who gives nothing away. He comes to Daily Planet as Superman and gives Lois interview, then he comes back as Clark and leaves his shirt unbuttoned behind his tie. He brings her hand up and slips it inside his shirt where she can feel the suit. Then they have a conversation... which I posted the last few paragraphs of before posting the epilogue. Then there's the epilogue where he takes her flying and then takes her back down to her apartment. She invites him up... shares a drink with him, listens to him pour his heart out, and then he flys off to France for some pastries and promises to come back. Then we move on to the new story where he dreams about Lana and wakes up in a cold sweat in Lois's bedroom.
How's that? If that doesn't work, then you're just going to have to re-read the last chapter and then the epilogue.

Poor Clark. Guilt is going to consume him. He isn't going to forget it so soon. How terrifying. I hope Lois can help him to get through this hard time, and I hope he doesn't push her away. He needs Lois and she needs him, too.
