Lisa - you sort of pointed out half of something I pointed out then erased [several times]. Lois talks in the present/future tense there. Clark *only* talks in the past tense [as in we *had* planned on kids, but we *might have decided* it *wasn't* worth the risk, not we *had* planned on having kids but we *might decide* it *isn't* worth the risk - actual quote is below].
