I realized that the effect in Brutal Youth was easier to perform since they didn't need to have the room rotate and deal with all of the timings, etc., involved therein; but the basic effect was achieved in the same way - namely, that the room was set up to have a different orientation in RL than appeared on film.
"Apollo" may be a common name for a flop house, but the choice of it still strikes me as amusingly appropriate for Clark.
