Great part (again)!

I thought that you explained Lois' reasons for not wanting to kiss Clark very well. While he is still in the cell, it is almost like he doesn't have too much of a choice but to go along with things, whether voluntarily or involuntarily. Once he is free, the evolution of their relationship (from guardian-prisoner, to friends, to *more*) will represent a more "free" choice on his part - as he can then decide his future and what he wants. Moreover, Clark will be hesitant to show any "interest" like that in Lois because it is going to take some time for him to realise and accept that Lois doesn't see the alien in him, but sees him as another human person with a few extra talents. (I hope that somehow made sense).

Also, thanks for the insight into Menzies. However, that insights can let us readers draw two conclusions - either Menzies will somehow help shut down the operation and help Lois get Clark out "legally" for a new start (and a disguise), or he will somehow not be any help at all and Lois will have to break Clark out "illegaly".

Looking forward to the new part! (as always - it really is surprising that my keyword and refresh button is still working considering how many times this site gets opened and checked to see if there's an update laugh )
