I completely agree with Lois's reasoning regarding said kiss. As much as I want them to kiss (after all, we *are* talking about Lois and Clark here!), I have to admit it would be totally inappropriate while he is her prisoner and she his guard. How sad, however, that Clark interprets her actions (or, inaction wink ) as an adversion to kissing an alien. frown

Menzies. shock He placed Moyne in charge of the supposed alien, knowing full-well he was putting the prisoner's very life at risk. His only concern was that, *if* Moyne killed the man, at least the suspicion that he had been an alien would be enough to prevent an investigation.

Now, he needs to prevent an investigation into the death of the two agents, and that doesn't bode well for Clark. The only way to "terminate the alien operation" is to terminate the alien.
