Great part, ML. I was grinning at the fact that Franklin Stern had to get involved and that Perry, usually the voice of reason and control at the Planet, had to be sequestered and held back by security along with everyone else.
Great characterizations!
“He’s the one who hit me. I’m not complaining about my jaw, am I?”
“Well, that’s because... that’s because...” Lois’ voice trailed off in confusion, almost as if she knew there was a reason Kent’s jaw wasn’t hurting but couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
Loved this. Lois' true memories about him being Superman are leaking through, but they're not available to her conscious mind. Although I still think that he should tell her at some point (like after she's been spirited to a remote island

), judging by how angry she is at Clark right now, that's a very good thing that she *can't* remember.
I loved seeing the back-story and Clark's reasoning for the kidnapping. Not only is Clark being smart about Superman, but he's saving his friends from worry and the police from unnecessary work by making the culprit obvious. I doubt that the legal consequences of his actions matter much to Clark right now.
I am eager to see what happens when Lois wakes up. I can hardly wait for the next part.
