Well, count me among those who are hooked. And hearing that we're going to get parts every other day makes me very happy.
You've done a good job of explaining why and how Clark took steps to make sure he was the main/only suspect in Lois's kidnapping. I have no doubt that Deter will continue to pursue her -- though like others, I've always wondered
why he was so obsessed with her, so I'm looking forward to seeing your take on things -- and it wouldn't surprise me if Superman were asked to find her and bring her back to Deter. Heh. Like
that's gonna happen.
It was hard to read a detailed version of Lois's state of mind, with her actually saying the words to break up with Clark. It's clear that she's really far gone, if she could be so cruel to him. (And that she doesn't realize how illogical it all is, that she knows she has memory gaps, but doesn't see anything wrong with wanting to leave everyone and everything she cares about for a stranger. I was thrilled to see Clark point that out to her, and the fact that she rejected it outright shows she's not really "Lois Lane" at the moment.) I know that eventually it will be alright, but I have a feeling Clark is going to be in for a lot more emotional pain before this is all over. Sob!
I guess all we can hope is that once Lois is away from Deter, and the messages aren't being reinforced, she'll be able to clear away the cobwebs and let those memories resurface. I'm sure this is what Clark is hoping, too. I just have a feeling it won't happen fast enough for his liking!
