Ann -- I don't know about Macs, but on the PC, we were having trouble with the Autoplay script. It wasn't working right, so we had to manually circumvent it. Force the comp to show the files rather than just trying to play the disk. I'm not sure if there's a way to do that on a Mac, but give it a shot. (Probably something off the right-click menu for the drive, like it is on Windows.)
If you can spot index.html, that's what you want.
DVD vs DVD-R or DVD+R shouldn't make a difference. The disk should be readable on all. I have an old DVD/CD-RW combo drive, and it works fine (other than the thing with the autoplay).
You might also have better luck if you post a general query in the OT or How To sections.
Patrick: You can edit your own posts. Just click the little pencil and paper icon. If you want to fix typos and stuff, that's the best way to do it.
