- Response to John's FDK - (cont.)
Reader: she has embraced you and shown almost no anger at you. So far we have made five steps forward and zero back.
Or it's just an optical illusion.
But Lois will love Clark even if he is not SM.
He doesn't know that.
Ah, but Clark, you are not just without your pwoers. You are suffering from poisoning.
He's also had a long couple of days without super stamina.
Clark and Lois are still on good terms. Better do <dance> before things fall apart again.
Oh, dear, am I getting predictable again?
See, the Smallville arc did have SOME good things come out of it.
Why is she still calling him Jerome when he told everyone he was Clark?
This will be explained coming up in 60.
Lois: Then why doesn't he.
Clark: Well you are still mad at me.
Lois: I would let you kiss me.
CLARK: And then you'd probably slug me for doing it. Better safe than bruised.
No, I think she definantly will let him kiss her.
Sometimes it's the not knowing which scares him the most.
Martha is trying to hook Clark and Lois up.
Why not? Even Superman deserves some happyness in his private life.
Hopefully Clark will be smart enough to listen to her suggestions.
LOIS: Yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it.
Hmm, Clark is still too reluctant to follow his dreams.
He DID come to this dimension.
Martha has fully accepted Clark as her replacement son.
Maybe not 'fully', but she'll take what she can get.
Mother discipline to put Clark in line. Things are going to be much better for him now.
CLARK: That's good to hear.
Clark: <pouting> I have to stop looking at Lois. No fun.

Why it's amazing that Clark isn't on the waiting list for the Luthor House for the Mentally Unstable.
Especially since this Martha is mainly the same as the other Martha, minus most of the interaction with Clark. Hmm, that only means they started the same, they may have developed differently at some points.
Believe it or not, we are influenced a bit by our children.
Well, at least this way Jimmy will not be yelled at for not getting enough pictures, at least we hope he won't be yelled at for this.
PERRY: <yelling> Who's been telling the readers I yell? Olsen? Lane? Kent? No, Kent wouldn't say something like that. Ralph! I knew I should never have hired you.
Will she be as suspicious if Clark develops temporary amnesia after Superman vanishes on an encounter with an asteriod.
Quite possibly yes. Hopefully they will get the deep good on Bureau 39.
Nobody ever gets the deep goods on covert operations like B39. That's what makes them so scary.
Trask would clearly have assumed hostility on the part of all visitors.
At least the Kent's have gotten control of all known glowing-green rock.
Clark: I think we have managed to avoid even hinting to Lois that there is something that can hurt Superman. We can only hope she does not mention in the final report that something could hurt Superman. That would be most distressing.
Although without mentioning K, Trask's trip to Smallville makes no sense. By mentioning K in the article, she's trying to make sense of Trask's reasoning.
Clark: It was an "adrenaline rush". I think that works.
Another blind man who would not see.
Clark: Well, you will not get details of the "adrenaline rush" there.
Jimmy's photos will be published.
Let's hope they aren't out of focus this time.
The men in black to make sure any knowledge of UFOs is denied?
Sorry, no crossovers.
These may be useful later on.
JIMMY: I hoping they'll save my butt with Perry.
Um... nobody.
On what grounds? hasn't the government distanced itself from Bureau 39. The crimes here were all in one jurisdiction, no federal case that I can see.
Death of a federal employee.
Oh no, is this Bureau 39 trying to remove evidence?
It's what they do best.
Sounds like a Bureau 39 rescue and hide operation to me.
Why doen't Martha shot the lot of them and wait for real authorities to show up. I am thinking they may have some very interesting things in those vans, like maybe Superman's ship. Oh for missed opportunities.
Because the K is still on the property and she doesn't want it found as part of the Crime Scene. The last time they captured a B39 Agent, he escaped (Trask) and made things worse.
Very bad timing on their part. They missed the chance to get more evidence.
Or is it a good thing? Sheriff Max might have started a shoot-out with these feds who tasered his deputy before asking questions. Someone else could have gotten hurt.
