Wow! First I get to read four parts in one day and then...
Whoa! Despite all the awkwardness, I enjoyed their setting up house together, even though the place seems to be a dump.
But they are working together, getting along, which is certainly a good start to their relationship, wanted or not.
I enjoyed Lois's interaction with the doctor, it is good to know she has a friend to confide in! I hope Clark will find someone too. I still think he should tell the truth the his parents but at the moment it doesn't look like he will.
So Joe and Lana are finally back, something I have been awaiting and dreading for the last few installments... Joe is a great guy and his reaction wanting to marry Lois was less unexpected for me than for her. Maybe if he had been in Latislan, things would have been different.
Amazingly enough, Lana seems very understanding. She is really willing to wait for Clark for the next 5 years? Does she really know it will be at least five years? I can understand her wish to sleep with Clark before they go their separate ways for now. But I am glad Clark had the willpower to stop.
Of course while sleeping with Lana, he could have had flashbacks of making love to Lois back in the cabin (dream or no dream) and realized she is the one he really wants.
BTW, who is the father?
