Lois stuck to the plan, but Clark made a mess of it all. When he is around Lana, his brain activity is zero.
"Lois and I got stuck in another country and she didn't have a passport and we had to get married to get her home,"
"So why are you still married to her?"
"It's not real, but we have to stay married for a while,"
"You promised you'd never make love to another woman."
[...] "I'm not going to make love to her, Baby. It's not like that. It's temporary."
Stupid!Clark made various fatal mistakes.
- He told Lana that the marriage isn't real and it was just to get Lois out of Latislan.
- He let her assume that he and Lois never made love.
- He told her that he intends to get an annulment.
- He let it clear that the marriage is a ploy.
- And the most important fact he didn't tell her: "Lana, Lois and I are having a baby!"
When Lana finds it out, she's going to be sure that Clark isn't the father. What is to impede her from spreading it?
"Can't we be together anyway - in secret? No one would have to know - not even Lois," she whispered.
She lets it clear that she has no moral.
"Does she know you're kissing me like this? Like your life depends on it?" She kissed me again, her hands holding my face.
When she finally pulled back, she spoke again. "Did you tell her you were going to kiss me like that?"
It seems awfully a threat.
I'm sure she will make Lois and Clark's lives a hell.
