My heart almost broke when Clark had to tell Lana that he was married to Lois. I felt so extremely sorry for him.
For all of that, I agree with the other posters. Clark's behaviour is... un-Clark-like, perhaps? Not that different writers don't have the right to their own take on Clark. That is one of the joys of these boards.
But I have to repeat Lara's worries. Is it possible that Lana is in fact Clark's soulmate????
I was slightly less fascinated when I read parts 28 and 29, but now I'm totally riveted again, Carol!
