The only thing I would add would be a line explaining why Clark's parents are in Metropolis. I honestly don't remember enough detail from "Whine, Whine, Whine" to remember them being there. The line

made me stop and go, "huh?". I have no idea if this is what your BR was referring to, but it is the only thing that seemed "funny" to me.
