Chapter 1 - Lois thought she was checking the water level but dove in shortly afterwards, anyway, without fully considering the consequences of her actions. Definitely the Season 1 Lois in the show. This could be an extension of that scene in the episode where she and Superman kissed at the airport, since she jumped at the chance to kiss him when she thought he was affected by the spray.
Chapter 2 - Excellent chapter of the you-know-what hitting the fan as reality sinks in. Is this by any chance an answer to the Bizarro Kerth Challenge #3? It fits pretty close, even if it was unintentional.
Chapter 3 - Yay for Martha! Brilliantly treading that fine line of calming her upset son at the same time expressing her disappointment and anger at Lois. Glad to see a glimmer of light at the end of the dark tunnel.
Definitely well-written, realistic, in character, and so far a gentle handling this challenging topic.
